Amalgam was established in 1977. It is a family owned venture and has over 35 years experience in the food industry. The Group has been one of India’s major seafood exporters and aqua feed producers. Over the years the Group has restructured its focus on ingredients for both the food and feed industry and concentrating on the Indian domestic retail market with its frozen and ambient food brands.
The Group’s corporate office is at “Amalgam House”, Willingdon Island, Kochi, Kerala State.
All the processing facilities of the Group have all the required certification and accreditations for export to the Americas, European Union, Japan and Australia. The Group employs over 1000 skilled and trained personnel and each group company constantly strives to improve product quality, build a committed workforce and develop a team of dedicated managers.
