Fish Meal

Fish Meal is manufactured in plant designed to meet stringent quality and safety criteria. Sardine fish is used as raw material which is readily available in the coastal regions of Kerala. The manufacturing facility is near the catchment area, thereby ensuring freshness of the fish being processed. Fish Meal is made by steam cooking , pressing and steam drying. Cooking coagulates the proteins and is a critical process responsible for sterilising the product and preparing it for press water separation. Low temperature Steam drying process ensures the quality of the fish meal.

Squid Liver Powder

Squid Liver Powder has well configured fatty acid which maintains freshness of product without deteriorating during storage. Fish Extract

The Fish Meal industry transforms sustainable supplies of non-food fish and food fish trimmings into Fish Meal and Fish Oil. It is a natural, balanced and easily digestible feed ingredient that is high in protein, energy and vital minerals. Fish Meal is a natural functional feed which is rich in both amino acids in valuable peptide form and in the log chain as polyunsaturated Omega 3 fatty acids.

The water portion of the press liquid obtained while processing fish meal contains dissolved materials and fine solids in suspension. The Solids are mostly protein. It also contains essential fatty acid and cholesterol and is a feed attractant. This liquid is vacuum evaporated to a fish extract containing 55 to 65 percent of solids.

Fish Oil

The press liquid generated from the fish meal process undergoes a solid liquid separation process to separate most of the solid and liquid. Oil is separated from the liquid by a centrifuge, then polished and refined to remove any remaining water and impurities. Prior to storage an antioxidant is added. The antioxidant stabilizes the oil, avoiding damage because of oxidation.

Poultry By-Product Meal

Poultry Meal consists of ground, rendered, clean parts of slaughtered poultry such as necks, feet, undeveloped eggs, intestines and feathers. Poultry By-Product Meal is the protein finished product derived from Poultry Cuttings. Hydrolyzed Poultry By-Product Meal produced is used as a protein source ingredient for animal feed. It is one of the major ingredients that a nutritionist will use to formulate a complete feed. Shrimp Head Meal

Shrimp head meal is used as an ingredient in aqua industry. It is a good source of protein and unsaturated fatty acids, and about 10 percent of the fat is cholesterol. It is a rich source of minerals. The characteristic attractant properties of shrimp head meal makes it a good attractant in feed. It can be used as pigment in feed due to the high carotenoid content mainly astaxanthin and canthaxanthin. Chitin ( N-acetyl D- glucosamine), which are the major structural components in the exoskeleton of shrimp, which is believed to have a growth promoting effect in prawns.

Clam Meal
