Production Officer – Trainee

Location: AFDC (Accelerated Freeze Drying Company Ltd.), Ezhupunna, Cherthala
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc / M.F.Sc). Freshers or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Experience: 0–1 year. Candidates with internship experience in seafood processing plants or export-oriented units will be given preference.

Skill:

• Foundational understanding of seafood processing techniques and cold chain management.
• Quick learner with strong analytical and observational skills.
• Good communication skills in Malayalam and English to coordinate with the production floor team.

Role: Assist senior production officers in supervising the processing floor. You will undergo training to monitor raw material grading, processing temperatures, and packaging standards. The trainee will be responsible for assisting in documentation, learning to manage production schedules, and ensuring that all hygiene protocols are strictly followed during the shift.

Seafood Production Officer

Location: AFDC (Accelerated Freeze Drying Company Ltd.), Ezhupunna, Cherthala
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc), Food Technology, or Food Science.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in seafood processing or production. Experience in freezing technologies or value-added seafood products is an advantage.

Skill:

• Expertise in monitoring seafood production lines and maintaining meticulous batch records.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in local language communication (Malayalam) and English.

Role: Supervise daily seafood production at the Ezhupunna facility, ensuring a seamless workflow from raw material reception to final packaging. Responsibilities include monitoring critical process parameters, ensuring strict adherence to quality and hygiene standards, and implementing strategies for waste reduction and efficiency.
